Police are asking for the public's help in locating a Fort St. John-area woman who has been missing for three weeks.

Pamela Napoleon was last seen July 8 at the Blueberry River First Nation, north of Ft. St. John, but she is known to travel to Prince George as well as Vancouver, Abbotsford, and Grande Prairie, Alta.

Her family has not heard from her since July 8 and told police it is very out of character for Napoleon to be out of contact for so long.

Napoleon is a 42-year-old aboriginal woman, with long straight black hair and brown eyes. She is five feet, six inches tall and weighs 170 pounds.

RCMP are asking anyone who may know about Napoleon's whereabouts to contact local police or call the Ft. St. John RCMP detachment at 250-787-8100.
