A 55-year-old man, his stepson and their dog who failed to return from a hunting trip over the weekend have been found.
They were located safe and sound from a helicopter operated by Dunkley Lumber, Quesnel RCMP said early Tuesday afternoon.
"The hunter's vehicle experienced mechanical issues on a very remote road forcing them to stay out longer than expected," Quesnel RCMP said. "Both individuals are in good spirits and are on their way back to Quesnel to connect with their family."
Search and rescue teams from Prince George and Quesnel were called out to help with the search. The two had gone into Stoney Lake-Narrow Lake area northeast of Quesnel.
