A Grade 7 girl who had been missing since Monday has been found after Prince George RCMP called for help Tuesday morning.
"As a result of information received from the public, the missing 12 year old female that walked away from her school yesterday, has been located by police and is safe," said Cpl. Craig Douglass. "Investigators would like to thank those members of the public and the media that assisted with locating her. "
Tyrah Rossetti was reported missing at around 1:30 p.m Monday about half an hour after she walked away from Peden Hill Elementary School. Police couldn't find her after extensive searches in the area and she was last seen walking towards the Pine Centre Mall area.
