A boy missing from Prince George since Wednesday has been found.
Prince George RCMP Spokesperson Jennifer Cooper confirmed to Glacier Media on Friday that Luke has been located safely.
Luke was cold, hungry and had with a few bruises but was otherwise OK, Cooper said.
The search for the missing 12-year-old had concentrated on an area south of Hixon to try to find him.
Prince George Search and Rescue has assembled a team of more than 35 volunteers from Prince George, 100 Mile House, Quesnel, Williams Lake, Vanderhoof, Mackenzie, Fort St. James and Houston, utilizing an open-grid method in the search for Luke.
Police were led to believe he was heading south on Highway 97 after Luke told siblings in his adoptive home of his plan to run away.
