The B.C. government has signed its first mining revenue-sharing agreement with two First Nations in B.C.'s Southern Interior which it hopes will pave the way for more such arrangements.
Another revenue-sharing agreement for the proposed $900-million Mount Milligan gold and copper mine, northwest of Prince George, is expected to be announced today with the McLeod Lake Indian Band.
