Daydreaming about winning a million dollars is a pleasant way to pass the time. And what if that daydream turned into reality?

Here's your chance to win during Thanks a Million, a Prince George Citizen reader appreciation event like no other.

"As with many of our advertisers we took this opportunity to partner with Wood Wheaton Supercentre for the second time to give back to the community and our readers in appreciation for allowing us into their every day lives," said Colleen Sparrow, publisher of The Prince George Citizen. "This year we've changed it a bit, so not only can you be spotted with your I Want To Win sign for a chance to win, but you can also enter the draw by filling out the ballot and dropping it off at The Citizen, Wood Wheaton Supercentre, Bi Rite Furniture and NR Motors."

This way more readers in the outlying areas can enter the contest, sending in their ballots for their chance to win a million dollars.

Details on how to enter:

Every Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday the I Wanna Win sign will be printed in The Citizen, cut it out and display it somewhere our spotters can see it. Be creative. You can put it in your house or car window, on your backpack or purse, on your hat or any where else you think it would likely be seen by one of The Citizen Spotters March 13 to May 5.

If you're spotted, you'll be entered into the contest for your chance to win $1,000,000 or a brand new Lund 1448 Jon Flat Bow complete with Suzuki 9.9 HP motor worth $5,500. Each week the colour of the sign will change, so be sure to have the right one posted.

Every Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday we'll also publish the entry form. Just fill it out and drop it off at Wood Wheaton Supercentre or the Prince George Citizen for your chance to win the million or the boat, as well as weekly prizes including a John Deere 1028 snowblower worth $1,900, event tickets, gift certificates and more.

"Above all else, this is a fun event," said Tom Sentes, manager of Wood Wheaton Supercentre. "It's very difficult at times to give back to your customers and I find this is a fun way to give back. Because it's an extended program, we're able to reach a much wider circle than we normally could, so that's one of the main reasons we participate in this contest - and fun is a big factor."

Highlight of the contest comes during the gala evening where selected contestants get a chance to pick a five-digit combination that could open the safe containing $1 million. Besides the chance for the million, finalists will also win major prizes that evening during a draw. Stay tuned to The Citizen for more details as the contest continues.
