Mill supervisor identified as man killed in fire

The B.C. Coroners Service has identified Alan Little of Prince George as the man killed in the Lakeland Mills explosion and fire Monday night. Little, 43, was a shift supervisor at the sawmill when it exploded at 9:38 p.m. Monday.

Little, 43, was a shift supervisor at the sawmill when it exploded at 9:38 p.m. Monday. Little was transported to University Hospital of Northern B.C. soon after the blast but died there several hours later.

Little's family members have been informed of his death.

The B.C. Coroners Service has begun an investigation into the death, which will be done in co-operation with the RCMP, the City of Prince George Fire Service, and WorkSafeBC.
