The 10th annual Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) fundraising event Ride Don’t Hide takes a virtual tour during the month of June.
As the pandemic has spurred a deterioration of mental health since its beginning, the nation’s biggest bike ride fundraiser offers people an opportunity to raise funds that will go to local programming to help those in need.

People can register for the event online, download the Ride Don’t Hide app to document any physical activity challenge the participant chooses and connect with teammates, fundraise, raise awareness and even participate in weekly challenges all from a smart phone.
People can set their personal challenge and ride, run, walk, dance or even meditate for at least 330 minutes throughout the month of June to support CMHA’s essential community mental health programs and services including those offered at the office downtown and the new CMHA Connections Clubhouse on Norwood Street that will hold its grand opening after the pandemic restrictions are lifted.
This year’s goal is to raise $26,000. The title sponsor of the local event, John Brink of Brink Group of Companies, kick started the effort with a donation of $2,500.
