UNBC men's basketball squad beat the UBC Okanagan Heat 85-64 in Kelowna Friday to wrap up their regular season in the Canadian Interuniversity Sport Canada West Conference.
UNBC improved to 12-8 and are currently in second place in the Explorer Division with a playoff spot locked up.
The Timberwolves will have to wait until Saturday night to find out if they finish second or third in the Explorer Division.

Senior forward Franco Kouagnia led the Timberwolves with 16 points and nine rebounds, while fifth-year forward Devin McMurtry posted another double-double, collecting 12 points and 14 rebounds.
Rhys Elliott picked up 13 points and Jeff Chu nabbed 10 points.
On Thursday, the T-wolves coasted to a 86-56 win over the Heat.
After the Heat ran out to an 8-2 lead early in the game, the Timberwolves rebounded with a 17-0 run of their own and never looked back.
Kouagnia led all scorers with 18 points.
On the women's side, the Heat edged the Timberwolves 66-60 Thursday.
Graduating forward Sarah Robin was the top scorer with 25 points.
