Local motocross racer turned model is now one of Maxim magazine's Home Town Hotties and needs votes in week nine to make it as a weekly winner that leads to the Home Town Hotties title.

There's only five Canadian girls that made it into the top 100 in week nine and Ashlee Painchaud, 23, who was born and raised in Prince George, is one of them.

The whole contest is based on online users voting for their top ten hotties each week that move on in the contest.

Beginning at noon on Monday people can go to www.maxim.com and click on Home Town Hotties. Each person can vote once a day until May 3 at noon.

"It all goes by votes so I need all the help I can get," said Painchaud. "It's pretty crazy for me to be in a contest like this coming from little ol' Prince George. It's like a dream come true. I can't believe it. I'm super excited to see how far I'll get. I'm up against models from Las Vegas, Texas, New York, California, Florida and all those places where the industry is hugely competitive."

Check out Ashlee and her competition at http://www.maxim.com/hotties/hotties-voting.html and begin voting for her Monday at noon.
