A Surrey man was sentenced to 15 months in jail Tuesday after he was found with more than 1,500 marijuana plants on a property in the Ness Lake area 19 months ago.
Thai Hong Vu, 38, was also issued a 10-year firearms prohibition after pleading guilty to production of a controlled substance in relation to the March 4, 2010 incident, when police were granted a search warrant for a property in the 9400 block of Edna Road.
