Another big retail store in Prince George is joining the list of businesses requiring customers to wear a face-covering.
Hudson's Bay Company (HBC) is mandating that its staff and in-person shoppers wear a mask, including its Parkwood Mall location.
"The health and well-being of associates and customers is our top priority," HBC spokesperson Tiffany Bourré confirmed to Glacier Media today (Nov. 18).
"Beginning Tuesday, wearing a mask is mandatory while inside the Hudson's Bay."
If a customer doesn't have a mask before entering the store, HBC says an associate will provide one.
Costco began its new mandatory mask policy on Monday (Nov. 16).
Other known Prince George businesses that have implemented face-coverings for customers include Walmart, Starbucks, Real Canadian Superstore, Winners and HomeSense, Dollar Tree, Old Navy and Fabricland.
Services in the city that require a face mask are YXS Airport, BC Transit, ICBC, medical clinics and the University Hospital of Northern BC (UHNBC).
