Man wanted on six counts of theft previously charged in New West

B.C. police issued a warrant this week for a 59-year-old man who's known for crimes of theft, including past incidents in New Westminster.

A 59-year-old man wanted on six counts of theft under $5,000 is sought by B.C. police as of April 23, 2024.

B.C. police are turning to the public to help find a 59-year-old man wanted on several theft charges — an MO he's familiar with out of New Westminster.

Daniel Goulet was added to Metro Vancouver Crime Stoppers' "most wanted" list this week.

A warrant for his arrest for six counts of theft under $5,000 went into effect on Tuesday, April 23, out of Chilliwack, according to the organization.

Goulet's record includes 60 days in jail after he was found guilty of theft under $5,000 in New West in February 2019.

B.C. online court services also shows he was charged in August 2007 in the city for an incident that included possession of stolen property under $5,000 and uttering a forged document.

Goulet's described as:

  • 205 pounds
  • Brown/grey hair
  • Green eyes
