The 24-year-old Prince George man who was struck by a vehicle near the intersection of Fifth Avenue and Voyageur Street earlier this week has died in hospital, Prince George RCMP said in a statement issued Wednesday evening.
Police, who were called to the scene at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, are continuing to investigate.
"Alcohol was not a contributing factor and the driver of the vehicle is cooperating with the investigation," RCMP said.
The name of the man, who was rushed to hospital following the incident, was not released.
