Police are reminding pedestrians to be "extra cautious" after a man was hit and suffered serious injuries Saturday evening while crossing Fifth Avenue near Ruggles Street.
RCMP said it appeared the man was wearing dark clothing, listening to music with earphones, and had stepped out in front of a west bound small SUV.
"Police would like to remind pedestrians to be extra cautious, wear reflective clothing and utilize well-lit crosswalks," RCMP said. "Drivers are reminded to always expect pedestrians, especially after dark."
