A Williams Lake man suffering from multiple stab wounds was rushed to hospital in critical condition Thursday night at about 11:30.
Williams Lake police were called to a residence in the 1100 block of Second Avenue North after witnesses called to report the stabbing.
A 24-year-old man is in serious but stable condition.
A 22-year-old Williams Lake man was arrested near the scene and remains in police custody as the investigation continues.
The men appear to have known each other but motive is not clear.
