A man was sentenced Tuesday to two years less a day of house arrest in relation to a seizure of stolen rifles from a Bunce Road home 15 months ago.
Patrick Ryan Baker, 29, was also issued a 10-year firearms prohibition and assessed $400 in victim surcharges during a hearing in Prince George provincial court.
Baker was issued the sentence on one count each of knowingly possessing a firearm without a licence or registration and possession of stolen property under $5,000.
Baker had originally faced a dozen charges after he was arrested in early January 2016.
At the time, RCMP said they seized 14 stolen rifles from a Bunce Road home the day after the guns went missing from an Upper Fraser Road home.
