An armed robbery of a Prince George convenience store has earned a man a further 568 days in jail.
Chayne Neale Lafantaisie, 27, was issued the term Tuesday in provincial court on a count of robbery.
He was also sentenced to concurrent terms of one year for using an imitation firearm and three months for possession of a firearm contrary to an order.
Lafantaisie has remained in custody since he was arrested Feb. 7, the day after he made off with a small amount of cash and lottery tickets from the 4100-block 15th Avenue store.
RCMP issued a bulletin with a description of the suspect and arrested Lafantaisie after acting on a tip from the public.
He was also sentence to six months in jail for theft of a motor vehicle and assault from a Jan. 31 incident in Bear Lake.
