The whereabouts of a man reported missing last week remains a mystery.

Edward Allen Billingsley, 60, has not yet been located, Prince George RCMP Cpl. Craig Douglass confirmed Tuesday.

He has not returned to his home in College Heights since April 13. His dog, a small, black poodle-type dog, was found tied up on Vancouver Street.

"People don't usually leave their dogs, so we're concerned," Douglass said but also stressed that foul play is not suspected.

Billingsley also goes by the surnames Patterson and Peterson, and is known as Eddy.

He is described as very thin, balding with a grey and white beard, brown eyes and usually wears jeans. He also has no tattoos or markings but has no teeth.

He rides a bicycle and collects recyclables and does odd jobs.

Anyone who knows where Billingsley may be is asked to contact the detachment at 250-561-3300.

Tips can also be left anonymously at Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477, online at www.pgcrimestoppers.bc.ca (English only).
