A man accused of telecommunicating with an underaged person and returning to public parks despite bans pleaded guilty earlier this month.
Peter Andrew Wehren, who faced nine counts relating to a child-luring attempt and breaches of release conditions, pleaded guilty to four counts on April 3 in Richmond Provincial Court.
Guilty pleas were entered for one count of telecommunication with a person under 16 between Feb. 14 and 21 and three counts of going to a public park on Feb. 23, March 3 and March 8.
Wehren was first arrested on Feb. 21 in Steveston Community Park and was later arrested three more times between February and March following his initial release. He was ultimately denied bail following his fourth arrest.
A pre-sentencing report was ordered for Wehren and he is scheduled to return to Richmond Provincial Court on June 3.
