One man is in hospital and police are investigating, following a stabbing in Prince George on Thursday evening.
Prince George RCMP located the man shortly before 7 p.m. near the corner of Victoria Street and Ninth Avenue.
They began first aid and the BC Ambulance Service and Prince George Fire Rescue were called to the scene. The man was then transported to the University Hospital of Northern B.C. where he remains in critical condition.
The Prince George RCMP's major crime section have taken over the investigation with the assistance of the forensic identification section and other specialized units.
A section of an alleyway between the Riviera Motel and the Super Save gas station remained ribboned off with an officer on site as of shortly before noon Friday.
Officers are in the early stages of the investigation and are asking for the public's help.
