Quesnel RCMP as asking anyone who witnessed a stabbing on Wednesday to contact them.
A man was walking in the 400-block of Reid Street in downtown Quesnel around 5:30 p.m., when he was confronted by an unknown man and stabbed. The man was treated by paramedics and transported to hospital with serious injuries.
“This could have ended much differently and we ask that anyone who may have been in the area during this time, to contact the police,” Quesnel RCMP officer Sgt. Richard Weseen said.
