A stabbing at a downtown street corner and several other charges has led five months in jail for the attacker.
Marcel James Abou, 26, was also sentenced to three years probation and issued a 10-year firearms prohibition in Prince George Provincial Court on Monday for assault with a weapon.
The outcome follows a Feb. 7 incident in which police were called to an altercation between two men at 4th Avenue and Dominion Street.
The victim was taken to hospital and later discharged to recover from non-life-threatening injuries.
The terms also cover three counts of break and enter to commit an offence, two committed in Tsay Keh Dene and one in Prince George.
Abou was also sentenced to one month in jail and three years probation for four counts of breach of an undertaking or recognizance and one count of breach of probation, all committed in Prince George.
