More charges have been filed against a 23-year-old Prince George man who already faces five charges as a result of an alleged episode of dangerous driving in July.

Kristian Mikael Rahkola faces two counts each of uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm and causing a disturbance and one count of breach of an undertaking from an alleged Sept. 1 incident. He has remained in custody since his arrest on that matter.

Rahkola was arrested July 25 after Prince George RCMP received multiple calls of someone in a pickup truck driving erratically in downtown Prince George.

He was subsequently charged with flight from a peace officer, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, assaulting a peace officer, willfully resisting a peace officer and driving while impaired and was released from custody on a recognizance with a $2,000 surety three days later.

Rahkola also faces charges of breach of an undertaking and willfully resisting or obstructing a peace officer from an alleged Aug. 20 incident.

He is next scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 28.
