A 27-year-old man has died from injuries suffered in a weekend motor vehicle accident in Prince George.
On July 4 at about 1 a.m. a pickup truck was travelling west in the 6400 block of Bendixon Road when the driver lost control, causing the truck to leave the road and strike a power pole.
Three occupants in the vehicle were injured and taken to UHNBC where a passenger died from his injuries.
His name is not being released at this time due to notification of next of kin. Police advise that alcohol and speed are believed to be among major causes of the accident. An investigation continues.
