RCMP in Dawson Creek were on the scene of what they say was an officer-involved shooting at a hotel restaurant Thursday night.
Police have cordoned off a section outside the the Fixx Urban Grill restaurant at the Stonebridge Hotel along Highway 2.
The restaurant had been scheduled to host a BC Hydro open house on the construction of the controversial $8.8-billion Site C dam project on the Peace River.

Pratt says the man was escorted outside and said he later saw a body outside the restaurant.
Shortly before 9 p.m., at least four police cruisers and an ambulance remained on scene. Blood could be seen on the pavement outside the restaurant. Kitchen staff were outside at the back of the restaurant.
