A charge has been laid in the alleged sexual assault of a woman in a vulnerable position.
According to Prince George police, David William Jago, 57, has been formally accused of sexual assault and forcible confinement connected to an incident on Sunday.
"The Prince George RCMP received a report of an adult female sex worker that was forcibly confined and sexually assaulted," said Cpl. Craig Douglass,. "Within an hour of the report, the investigation led police to locate and arrest (Jago)."
The suspect has been held in custody since his arrest and he was scheduled to appear in provincial court on Wednesday.
According to Douglass, the victim, who's name has not been publicly disclosed, was treated in hospital and released.
