A man faces three counts following a stabbing at a Mackenzie bar during the weekend.
Joshua James Currie, 32, has been charged with aggravated assault, assault with a weapon and possessing a weapon for a dangerous purpose following the incident early Saturday morning.
A 22-year-old woman suffered a serious wound to her lower abdomen and a large gash to her upper thigh and was transported to hospital in Prince George where she underwent surgery, police have said.
Currie has been released on bail following an appearance in Prince George provincial court on Tuesday.
