A 48-year-old man is in custody after police were called Tuesday afternoon to a report of a woman being shot at at a Hart-area home.
Colin Wayne Hall faces four firearms related charges including attempt to wound or disfigure. He remains in custody.
The incident is alleged to have occurred sometime before 2 p.m. at a 2800-block Highway 97 home, near Bellamy Road, and the two are known to each other, police said.
No injuries were reported.
A portion of Highway 97 was closed for about 15 minutes as a precaution. A dog team was called in and the suspect was located within a few minutes.
Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident to call Prince George RCMP at 250-561-3300.
