A man who suffered significant burns was rushed to hospital Sunday evening after a fire broke out in a 5400-block Lehman Street home.
The 15 firefighters from three halls who were called to the scene at 5:10 p.m., found heavy black smoke and extensive flames coming from the home's attached garage and roof.
The man met crews outside of the Hart-area home.
Although the flames were quickly knocked down, damage to the home was extensive and there was no dollar estimate of the damage.
