Prince George RCMP are on the lookout for a man suspected of trying to lure a 12-year-old girl into his pickup truck on Tuesday morning.
Police said the incident occurred near Hart Highlands elementary school, located at 2233 Sussex Lane, at about 8:30 a.m. when the girl was approached by a man in a newer, black GMC Sierra pickup with a tonneau cover who asked if she needed a ride. The girl ran to the school where both the school administration and police were notified.
The man is described as Caucasian, balding, about 35 years old, and wearing a white shirt.
