Prince George RCMP have made an arrest after a 53-year-old woman alleged she escaped from an apartment where she had been forcibly confined for hours.
A 56-year-old man RCMP say is known to police was taken into custody on Friday and will be appearing before a justice of the peace on charges of assault and forcible confinement.
The arrest came after police were called to a home in the 1500 block of Queensway Blvd. at 6:15 a.m. Friday.
