Man arrested after Saturday stabbing

A 21-year-old Prince George man is in custody after allegedly stabbing a 24-year-old man on Saturday. The stabbing took place inside a home in the 2000 block of Centre Street at approximately 7 p.m.

A 21-year-old Prince George man is in custody after allegedly stabbing a 24-year-old man on Saturday.

The stabbing took place inside a home in the 2000 block of Centre Street at approximately 7 p.m. The 24-year-old man was stabbed several times, suffering non-life-threatening injuries.

"They were known to each other... [but] its unknown what the reason for the stabbing was," Prince George RCMP spokesman Cpl. Craig Douglass said.

No names are being released until the suspect appears in court on Tuesday, Douglass added. Charges will likely be laid at that time.
