Jim Dresler has won a $325 gift certificate from Central Builders and it's not the first time he's won during the Prince George Citizen's Live Free For a Year Contest.
Last year Dresler bought a dart board and hot tub supplies when he won a $325 gc from Tropical Pool and Spa and his better half, Rita Freimuller, just picked up her new vacuum with last year's $300 gc from Home Hardware in the Hart.
"I want to get some tools from Central Builders but my better half might have something to say about that," laughed Dresler, who's been looking for a house for years and attends many open houses where he faithfully enters the Live Free contest.
Next up for grabs during the contest is three months of paid mortgage payments of up to $1,000 each. The draw will take place Nov. 22 at 5 p.m. There is also a chance to win a $325 gift certificate from Northern Hardware at the same time.
On Nov. 29 the six-month winner will be drawn and on Dec. 7 the grand prize of 12-months free mortgage payments, along with $500 gift card for gasoline from Mr. G.
Entrants into the contest who have no mortgage will be offered $750 a month in cash for three, six and 12 months if their name is drawn for one of the grand prizes.
People are encouraged to keep entering the contest even as it draws to a close.
Dresler still has a chance to win all these prizes again and he said he's feeling lucky.
