Traffic will be slowed today as maintenance work is carried out on area highways, according to DriveBC.
Here's a look:
- Highway 97 will be reduced to single-lane alternating with delays of up to 20 minutes, 4.5 kilometres south of Highway 16 until noon and then from noon to 4 p.m. 750 metres north of the junction, for bridge maintenance in both cases.
- The eastbound curb lane on HIghway 16 will be closed 5.2 kilometres west of the junction with HIghway 97 to allow fir ditch maintenance until 6 p.m.
