Maintenance work is scheduled for Highway 16 from Vanderhoof to Fraser Lake over the next two days, reducing traffic to single lane in the following spots:
- from 15 km east of Vanderhoof to 30 km east of Vanderhoof today until 3 p.m.
- on the Nechako River bridge 1.4 km west of Fort Fraser today from noon to 3 p.m.
- at the Stellako River bridge, 3.6 km west of Fraser Lake, from 3 to 5 p.m. today.
- at the railway overhead 4.7 km west of Fort Fraser on Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- at the railway overhead 4.9 km west of the junction with Highway 27 on Thursday from 7 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
- at the railway overhead 17.4 km west of Fraser Lake on Thursday, from 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Maintenance work is also scheduled for the Stuart River Bridge on Highway 27, 9.3 km south of Fort St. James on Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.
And maintenance will continue on the West Twin bridge, 30 km west of McBride, through June 13, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
