Four days of grand opening events are in the job jar for the Lowe's home improvement store at Pine Centre Mall.
They begin Thursday at 10 a.m. when mayor Lyn Hall, Prince George-Valemount MLA Shirley Bond and store manager James Maybin will be on hand for an "official board cutting" to open the as well as a donation to the College of New Caledonia's school of technologies and trades.
On Friday, the first 100 customers receive a free Sylvania light bulb.
On Saturday, the first 200 customers will receive a $25 gift card. Also on Saturday, HGTV's Bryan Baeumler will sign autographs, 10 a.m. to noon and there will be a "build and grow" workshop starting at 10 a.m.
On Sunday the first 80 customers will get a Duramaxx 18-inch hedge trimmer. (The limit is one per household and proof of address is required.
Customers can also enter to win one of five grand prizes.
