Prince George Boot & Sock Drive is set for Wednesday, Nov. 16 at the Fire Pit downtown.
Many of Prince George’s most vulnerable citizens are living in runners and thin socks all winter long.
People are at high risk for frostbite, hypothermia and foot rot, possibly leading to amputation.
Please help to ensure men and women in need have warm footwear this winter.
Please drop off any gently used winter boots, winter clothing (including socks) and blankets by noon on Wednesday at the Fire Pit, 1120 Third Ave.
Doors will open Thursday, Nov 17 from 1 to 4 p.m. to those in need.
