On Sunday morning, long lines of patient drivers, most in pick-ups, idled their vehicles waiting for a free load of compost.
For a donation of one non-perishable food item, people were able to get a load of compost at the Foothills Landfill.
All food items donated will go the the St. Vincent de Paul Society.
