An elderly Prince George woman died Sunday as a result of injuries sustained during a single vehicle collision near Clinton.
Clinton RCMP were called to the scene at about 1 p.m. where the driver of a Kia Rondo entered a ditch and impacted a bank in a small gully on Highway 97, five kilometres north of of the community.
The woman, a passenger in the car, was flown by air ambulance to Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops where she later succumbed to her injuries, RCMP said.
The woman's name has not been released.
