Local vigil held in honour of Muslim family involved in Ontario attack

Residents gather at city hall to show support for local Muslim community
Approximately 130 people gathered at the steps in front of Prince George City Hall on Tuesday evening during a vigil that was held in honour of members of the Afzal-Salmans, a Muslim family who recently lost a grandmother, a mother, a father, and a daughter in a premeditated act when they were struck by a vehicle and ran over by a 20-yr-old man while out for a walk in London, Ontario on June 6th. A nine-year-old boy was also struck but survived the ordeal with serious injuries and has since been released from hospital.
