Northern Health has given the city's heroin users a heads up about a bad batch circulating in the Lower Mainland but so far no one in northern B.C. has been harmed.
A notice from the B.C. coroner's officer warning that higher-potency heroin is circulating in the province has been posted at the health centre and needle exchange downtown and is being distributed by the wellness van, Northern Health spokeswoman Eryn Collins confirmed.
