A $1.9 million project to replace the boiler and thermal heating system at Nusdeh Yoh elementary school will go ahead, the provincial government said Thursday.
As well, it said an outdated dust collection system at Mackenzie secondary school will be replaced for $206,600.
The school district is chipping in $25,000 for each of the projects.
No timelines for the projects were provided.
"This significant investment at Nusdeh Yoh Elementary School will mean that the school has a reliable heating system for years to come," Prince George-Valemount MLA Shirley Bond said in a press release.
