It's Chamber of Commerce Week in B.C. and to celebrate the local chamber is hosting Business After 5, a networking event with the Industry Training Authority (ITA) where professionals come together Thursday at 5 p.m. at Twisted Cork to get to know each other and their services better.
The local chamber offers networking opportunities throughout Prince George as well as group insurance and resources for businesses in the community.
As a member of the B.C. Chamber network, the local organization contributed to a new report presented by the Independent Commission on Tax Competitiveness to the Minister of Finance, which offered suggestions like a made-in-B.C. value-added tax, a policy passed by the B.C. Chamber's membership.
