A live trap has been put in place at Wilson Park and conservation officer Gary Van Spengen is advising visitors to take some precautions after a black bear showed signs this week of becoming a problem.
"This bear has not been a problem to anyone but he's a little bit lackadaisical about leaving when people arrive sometimes," Van Spengen said Thursday, who added the bruin has apparently frequented the area for years."
