The Little Prince miniature steam train is ready to roll this long weekend.
Mechanical troubles and the lack of certified engineers had forced the train off its tracks for most of the summer but it will be taking on passengers this Saturday, Sunday and Monday, noon to 4 p.m.
The 100-year-old train runs along "Canada's shortest railway," a half-mile loop next door to Exploration Place.
The rides, which last about 15 minutes, will be free all weekend but will be weather pending. If it looks dubious, families are urged to call the museum at 250-562-1612.
