The federal Liberal ridings will be unveiling their slate of candidates vying for nomination next week. Vancouver-area MP and former party leadership hopeful Joyce Murray will be in Prince George July 27 and 28 to meet with the prospective Prince George-Cariboo and Prince George-Peace River-Northern Rockies contenders.
Candidates will address area party members during a fundraising dinner July 27 at Tandoori Nation restaurant on Central Street West. A former MLA, Murray was elected to Parliament in 2008 and sits as the Liberal critic for national defence. Murray will also meet with representatives from a number of local groups and tour the Wood Innovation and Design Centre.
