Less than three per cent of Prince George residents have returned their referendum ballot

The province as a whole has only returned one per cent of packages sent out

As of Nov. 6, voters in Prince George-Mackenzie have only sent in 678 ballots out of a registered 33,068.

Prince George-Valemount is slightly better with 814 ballots mailed in, with 34,527 voters registered in the area. 

Boundary-Similkameen currently has the highest percentage of ballots returned (4.9 per cent) with 1,738 votes sent in out of 35,333. 

Across the province, only 33,463 ballots have been received by Elections B.C. out of a total of 3,290,372 (one per cent).

These numbers will change daily as Elections B.C. updates its information. 

If you still have not received a voters package, contact Elections B.C. online or call 1-800-661-8683 Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.; or Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. 

You can also visit a Referendum Service Office or Service B.C. Centre. These locations also accept completed ballots.
