Prince George real estate agent Ken Laursen has been elected president of the B.C. Northern Real Estate Board for the 2014-2015 term.
Laursen, who has been a director since 2009 and was previously vice president, was elected during the BCNREB annual meeting on March 7. He replaces Gisela Janzen of 100 Mile House, who stays on as past president.
David Black, also of Prince George, was installed as vice president and treasurer.
Directors for 2014-15 are Clint Dahl and Debbie Piete of Prince George, John Evans of Terrace, William Lacy of Quesnel, Curtis Robinson of Fort St. John, and D.J. Mio of Smithers.
