"It's the day to wear your new yellow daffodil pin and attend a ceremony at Prince George city hall where you can add the name of loved one to the Field of Hope banner," said Margaret Jones-Bricker, CCS regional manager.
Jones-Bricker invites the community to participate in the city hall proclamation and flag-raising ceremony at 12:30 p.m. today.
Mayor Dan Rogers, who encourages all citizens to show support by wearing the daffodil pin, will proclaim April 9 as Daffodil Day in Prince George.

The CCS offers care and support to patients through information services, and programs like Cancer Connection, Camp Goodtimes, Volunteer Driver and patient lodges.
